Shelties strongly resemble to their bigger cousin, the Collie. Because of their level of activity, they can injure themselves as they age. That is what happened to Kobi as he was being a little too active. He had not shown any signs of arthritis or being in pain before this point but as the weather cooled down, he slowed down and stopped jumping up on the lounge.
