We loved this story from Jess about her cattle dog, Polar, who is now considered a ‘senior dog’ due to her age, not her spirit. Jess tried Glyde® Mobility Chews and wanted to be sure her dog stayed active as Polar ages. Jess wrote to us to let her know what preventative steps she was taking to be sure Polar stays active and lives her best life!
We are so glad Polar is a #GlydeDog now!
When you know your dog could possibly develop arthritis because of the breed type they are, it's always wise to take preventative steps to avoid letting your dog become a statistic. Cattle dogs are very active dogs, and they thrive when they are active. It was Jess's goal to be sure Polar stayed as active as she could to keep her happy outlook on life. She introduced Glyde to Polar so her steps continued to be peppy. Now, the joke is that Polar thinks Glyde is a delicious treat. But we know better: it's good for them!
We also often hear how some dogs think Glyde is a treat. All the better for you! They think they are getting a tasty treat, but you know better. It's good for them! Bonus!
Here’s what Jess had to say about how Glyde is working for them:
“Polar is a 7-year-old Cattle dog. She is now classed as a senior due to her age but has the energy of a young spring chicken. She shows no clinical signs of arthritis however as a breed that is pre-disposed to developing osteoarthritis I ensure that I prevent the early degeneration of her joints and she has Glyde Chews daily and also Zydax Injections annually. She is always excited to see the green tub of Glyde come out and get her delish treat!”

Thanks to Jess for this submittal of Polar!
