Dons Aredale

What type of dog is an Airedale Terrier?

The Airedale Terrier, often hailed as the "King of Terriers," is a breed of dog that exudes strength, intelligence, and versatility. With a distinctive appearance characterized by a dense, wiry coat, a robust build, and a long, flat head, the Airedale Terrier is an eye-catching and regal presence. Their keen and expressive eyes reflect their high intelligence and alertness, making them excellent watchdogs. Beyond their striking looks, Airedales are known for their unwavering loyalty, affectionate nature, and playful demeanor, making them wonderful family companions. Their energetic and spirited personality requires regular exercise and mental stimulation, but they are quick learners and excel in obedience training. As working dogs, Airedales have a history of being skilled hunters, guard dogs, and even wartime messengers, showcasing their adaptability and fearlessness. With the right training and socialization, the Airedale Terrier becomes a steadfast and devoted member of any loving household.

What is Hip Dysplasia?

Hip dysplasia is a common orthopedic condition that affects many dogs, particularly larger breeds like the Airedale Terrier. It occurs when the hip joint doesn't develop properly, leading to an abnormal fit between the ball and socket of the hip. This misalignment causes increased wear and tear on the joint, resulting in pain and reduced mobility for the affected dog. Dogs with hip dysplasia may experience difficulty getting up, climbing stairs, or participating in physical activities. Early detection and appropriate management are crucial to improving their quality of life. Find out more about hip dysplasia here.

Don Helped Sage with Glyde

Determined to find a solution, Don came across Glyde Mobility Chews. Impressed by the positive reviews and the natural ingredients, he decided to give us a try. After a few weeks of consistent use, Don began noticing remarkable changes in Sage's overall well-being. The once-limping Airedale Terrier was now bounding with enthusiasm and exploring the great outdoors. According to Don, Sage loves chasing balls but stops on the third toss because Sage thinks: if you continue to toss this ball, why am I bringing it back to you? Sage's increased mobility was not only evident in his playfulness but also in his daily activities. He could now effortlessly climb stairs, jump into the car, and enjoy long walks without discomfort.

Inspired by these incredible results, Don couldn't help but share his joy. He sent us a heartfelt message expressing his gratitude and how Glyde had given Sage a new lease on life. He emphasized how the positive change in Sage.

Don's testimonial touched our team deeply. It reminded us why we do what we do – to improve the lives of our furry friends and strengthen the bond between humans and animals. Knowing that Glyde played a vital role in restoring Sage's vitality filled us with a sense of pride and purpose.

Dons Airdale

Here's what Don had to say about Sage:

"Sage is my Airedale Terrier weighing 60 pounds considered a large breed dog. Sage was diagnosed with mild hip dysplasia at an early age. The condition worsened as he grew older and around 6 years old. He began to show advanced dysplasia and it was evident as he would yelp and wimper with pain while performing activities he did before, like jumping and running up stairways. I researched options and learned about the benefits of Glyde and decided to try it out. I started him on daily treatments of 4 per day for the first month, then 2 per day as maintenance after that.  Now, 2 Glyde tablets have been administered daily for the past 18 months. Glyde helped him so much we are able to add 3-mile daily walks! Glyde assisted him in regaining the energy and activity he showed prior to his diagnosis. Sage and I are most happy with the results he has shown with Glyde."
