Ashley is an excited pet parent now that she’s found Glyde™ Mobility Chews. Her #GlydeDog is doing so much better now than before. Here’s her story:
“Loki is an 8-year-old female Weimaraner. She and her sister Freyja became the center of my husband’s life when they were 6-week old puppies. I adopted them as my step-dogs when my husband and I got married in June of 2014.
Freyja has always been lean, fast, and super active. Loki, however, has never been as fast or lean and stays on the heavier side. For the past few years she has been showing signs of pain in her back legs. She no longer wanted to jump on the bed. She would put her front feet up and wait for my husband to lift her up and place her on the bed. She was slow to get up from lying down and would sometimes limp when the weather would get cold.
She was diagnosed with arthritis, and we were prescribed some pain medications to help when the pain was at its worse. We tried joint supplements here and there, but weren't very consistent with them and never really saw any improvement. When I heard about Glyde, I told my husband we needed to try it and see if it would help.
We started her regiment and didn't see much improvement the first couple of weeks, but we had bought the big jar so we continued giving them to her daily (it also helped that she really liked them, so giving them to her was very simple). By the end of the 4-week loading dose period, we were noticing that she was becoming more active and seemed more energetic.
We bought another jar and continued giving it to her. Some days are better than others, but her day to day quality of life is so much improved. We haven't had to use any pain medications since she's been on Glyde.
In fact, since she started the regiment, she has managed to catch two live rabbits on our ranch! I feel bad for the rabbits, but at the same time, I'm glad that she feels up to running and is still able to catch a rabbit! I am sure everyone feels this way about their pets, but Loki is a huge part of our family. It is extremely important to us that she stays happy, healthy, and to have the best life we can help provide. Glyde gives us that, and we are grateful for it.”
