We enjoyed hearing from Sarah recently when she told us about her adorable dog, Brutus. This sweet dog was always the smallest in his litter, and Sarah discovered there were probably reasons why. Thankfully, they found Glyde© Oral Powder for Dogs, and now Brutus is doing much better. Here is the story about how Brutus became a #GlydeDog
“Brutus is an 8-year-old Bull Arab, who was one of a litter of 12 hunting dogs. He was the runt of the litter when we picked him up, we now know why he was the runt! He has developed spinal deformities from about 6 years old, which has led to hip issues and muscle wastage in his hind legs.
In winter, it was extremely difficult for him to get out of bed, taking multiple attempts to rise in the morning due to pain and stiff joints. I started using Glyde powder with him about a year ago, along with NSAIDs. Now we simply use a scoop a day for him as maintenance, and no NSAIDs anymore.
"We have managed to wind back the clock a few years for Brutus, thanks to Glyde!" - Sarah
He’s much more lively, can manage a walk to the park and back without being carried home (he’s 47 kg!). Plus, he loves the taste of the Glyde powder, it’s like candy to him!”
— Sarah, Brutus’ mum
Glyde Powder and Glyde Mobility Chews have proven levels of three key components that work to relieve the painful signs of arthritis.
- New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel (GLM): A powerful anti-inflammatory
- Glucosamine: Reduces cartilage degradation
- Chondroitin Sulfate: Helps rebuild cartilage
Be sure to give Glyde every day for healthy joints in your dog!
Remember, if you are caring for a runt, keep in close contact with your veterinarian for advice, when needed. Runts may need special care from their owners early on, and a veterinarian will be able to determine the necessary care.
