She tried a prescription medication for her dog but found that it wasn’t a good long-term solution. She tried [Glyde™ Mobility Chews](https://store.parnell.com/products/glyde-chews) and was surprised at her dog’s tremendous response. So much so, Chrystal wanted to share this adorable video of her dog “acting like a hound dog should.” This was something Penelope had not done for quite awhile. When we saw this video here we thought: “Wow! Chrystal is so happy about her dog digging a hole, we have to share it!” Because for us, when our dogs dig a hole, we say “No!” But as with life, it’s all about the perspective. [Glyde ](https://store.parnell.com/products/glyde-chews)gave Chrystal her dog back and she was thrilled Penelope was digging again. We are so glad Penelope is a #GlydeDog now! You have to read more and see this adorable video we're calling "Penelope Digs."  “Penelope is an 11.5-year-old long-haired Dachshund. Several years ago, she began to suffer with back pain/spasms every few months. We would give [a brand of a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, or NSAID] or something similar for a few weeks, and cross our fingers until the next bout. We have tried other joint supplements, available at typical pet supply stores, but nothing made a noticeable difference. "We started giving Penelope Glyde chews about 4 months ago and have definitely seen an improvement! She is more agile, active, and has a bit more puppy-like pep in her step. She has shown increased interest in toys and play time and will even instigate horseplay with her younger sister. She gets up and down our back stairs more easily and refuses to let us help her. She used to stop and wait for us to pick her up. In the included video, she is behaving as a hound dog should - hunting, digging, and making a mess! She is a happy pup, and we are grateful that we discovered Glyde chews!” *— Chrystal, Penelope's Dog Mom* Thank you to Chrystal for sharing this story and submitting this adorable video!  [![Terriers Need Glyde for More Pep in their Step](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/4000146/00cc1e92-58b4-49fc-a4f6-9ed799e7a9d7.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/4000146/00cc1e92-58b4-49fc-a4f6-9ed799e7a9d7) --- ### Also in the Parnell Paws Blog [![Glyde Saved Kenai's Life and Kept Arthritis Pain Away](https://blog.parnell.com/hubfs/Michael%20and%20his%20dogs.png)](https://blog.parnell.com/en-us/glyde-saved-kenais-life-and-kept-arthritis-pain-away) [Glyde Saved Kenai's Life and Kept Arthritis Pain Away](https://blog.parnell.com/en-us/glyde-saved-kenais-life-and-kept-arthritis-pain-away) November 1, 2023 [Read More ](https://blog.parnell.com/en-us/glyde-saved-kenais-life-and-kept-arthritis-pain-away) [![A Tribute to Leroy's Amazing Life as a Service Dog #GlydeDog](https://blog.parnell.com/hubfs/Leroy%20and%20cat.png)](https://blog.parnell.com/en-us/a-tribute-to-leroys-amazing-life-as-a-service-dog-glydedog) [A Tribute to Leroy's Amazing Life as a Service Dog #GlydeDog](https://blog.parnell.com/en-us/a-tribute-to-leroys-amazing-life-as-a-service-dog-glydedog) September 7, 2023 [Read More ](https://blog.parnell.com/en-us/a-tribute-to-leroys-amazing-life-as-a-service-dog-glydedog) [![Airedale Terrier Thrives with Glyde](https://blog.parnell.com/hubfs/Dons%20Aredale.png)](https://blog.parnell.com/en-us/airedale-terrier-thrives-with-glyde) [Airedale Terrier Thrives with Glyde](https://blog.parnell.com/en-us/airedale-terrier-thrives-with-glyde) July 20, 2023 [Read More ](https://blog.parnell.com/en-us/airedale-terrier-thrives-with-glyde) #### Share [![Share on facebook](https://7528309.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/7528309/hubfs/raw_assets/public/mV0_d-web-default-modules_hubspot/img/facebook-color.png?width=24&name=facebook-color.png) ](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.parnell.com%2Fen-us%2Fpenelope-digs-glyde%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dfacebook) [![Share on linkedin](https://7528302.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/7528302/hubfs/raw_assets/public/mV0_d-web-default-modules_hubspot/img/linkedin-color.png?width=24&name=linkedin-color.png) ](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.parnell.com%2Fen-us%2Fpenelope-digs-glyde%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dlinkedin) [![Share on twitter](https://7528304.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/7528304/hubfs/raw_assets/public/mV0_d-web-default-modules_hubspot/img/twitter-color.png?width=24&name=twitter-color.png) ](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?original_referer=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.parnell.com%2Fen-us%2Fpenelope-digs-glyde%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&url=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.parnell.com%2Fen-us%2Fpenelope-digs-glyde%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&source=tweetbutton&text=) [![Share on email](https://7528311.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/7528311/hubfs/raw_assets/public/mV0_d-web-default-modules_hubspot/img/email-color.png?width=24&name=email-color.png) ](mailto:?subject=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fblog.parnell.com%2Fen-us%2Fpenelope-digs-glyde%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail%20&body=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fblog.parnell.com%2Fen-us%2Fpenelope-digs-glyde%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail) #### +MUST READ -
